Fire Training Academy
The mission of the Brick Township Fire Training Academy is to better prepare and enable all Emergency Services personnel to do their job regardless of the wide variety of situations they may be confronted with. This is accomplished by providing the most current, high quality, safe and realistic fire and rescue training available.
Situated on 30 acres in the northern section of the Township, the Fire Training Academy allows organized training to be accomplished with minimum down time, allowing Brick and surrounding communities' firefighters to meet or exceed training standards and keep up with the latest technology.
Technical Rescue Team
The Brick Township Technical Rescue Team is a group of highly trained and motivated volunteer members of the Brick Township Fire Department.
Since early 1996 the Brick Township Technical Rescue Team has been providing advanced rescue capabilities for confined space incidents throughout Ocean County.
The team has continued its training by adding high/low angle rope rescue, trench rescue, and basic building collapse rescue training to its response capabilities.
Underwater Recovery Team
Commonly known as the "Dive Team", the Brick Township Underwater Recovery Team responds to many different types of incidents, such as boating accidents, submersions, swimmers & boaters in distress, persons or animals through the ice, and vehicles in the water.
The Dive Team also regularly assists the Police Department with underwater search and recovery of items such as crime scene evidence and weapons.
- How We Serve Our Community -
