Breton Woods Fire Company coverage area spans the southern-most half of Brick Township, from the Dover Township border, north and west to the Lakewood border. It also covers just over a mile of oceanfront area, bordered by Mantoloking on the north and Dover Township on the south. Residents of District #1 are proud of their volunteer firemen, who spend many hours every week training and combating fires.
