Brick Bureau of Fire Safety (732) 458-4100
Each year approximately 500,000 home fires occur in the U.S.,…resulting in 6,000 deaths and over 100,000 serious injuries. Most of these tragedies could be
avoided if smoke alarms were maintained properly. The main problem is missing or dead batteries. When you change your clock, the Brick Bureau of Fire Safety wants you to make another change, a change that could save your life… the battery in your smoke alarm. A working smoke alarm alerts you and your family during the early stages of a fire while you have time to make a safe exit. So this NOVEMBER when you change your clock…change your battery.
THE BRICK BUREAU OF FIRE SAFETY AND LOCAL FIRE COMPANIES WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH BATTERIES COURTESY OF THREE LOCAL BRICK TOWNSHIP MERCHANTS. THEY ARE GIVING AWAY BATTERIES FOR YOUR SMOKE ALARM ON November 3rd at 10 a.m. at the following three locations till the supply runs out.
